Al Jones presented, via speakerphone, an update on the EDI translator/GM enterprise agreement
1. The I-Net and/or Ansinet project should be running within 3-6 months.
2. The Host on Demand still has several months of planning before the pilot program will begin.

Encryption is needed to make Internet usage credible.
Standards need to be developed that will allow information to be moved from one source to another as quickly as possible.

A link to the SEMA whitepaper on Internet Access will be created.
The use of X12, EDIFACT, and XML will be studied by the two task groups.
