Description: The purpose of this course is to give the participant an introduction to XML, modern B2B and Application Integration concepts, an overview of the Open Applications Group, an introduction to the OAGIS XML Specification, the skills required to install OAGIS and to navigate the documentation. The format of the course is lecture and discussion.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of EDI, Business-to-Business Integration and/or application integration concepts, and business software functions. Knowledge of basic ERP, CRM and e-Commerce concepts will be helpful, but is not required.21sBasic XML knowledge, plus experience with programming or scripting languages, such as Java or JavaScript. Experience working with previous OAGIS XML is sufficient to meet prerequisites for this Course. Knowledge and experience with XML Schema is helpful, but not required.None. Although a basic knowledge of integrating business applications would be helpful.
