No update from AIA Canada on 850 to EDIFACT Conversion
Published European working group standards on MEMA
Being used by Von Heck Company.

AIA Canada will convert the MEMA 850 to EDIFACT by the September ACEC meeting.

COMMENTS:
EDIFACT information is published on the MISG web site.
The ACEC will monitor the use of EDIFACT to see when it is applicable to the aftermarket.

Mike Willaims will share Colaborative Planning and Forecasting Team results if the team is formed between Ozark and vendor partners.

APAA take over direction of this project is more on the retail side. The APAA EC committee is also looking at another industries such as the CPFR project.

COMMENTS:
AWDA IAT Committee will study other industries VMI implementations. They will look at the work to identify types of data that has been done by APAA. They will study the CFS VMI pilots and other pilots. They will gather information on software providers. They will talk to Mike Williams about the CFARS project.

UCC make the changes to bar code guidelines.

Revising UPC guidelines Electronic Commerce Resource Center a government agency will help with the revisions. ACDelco and Rich Gannaway of indland Truck Parts are also helping with the revisions.

1996 AWDA bar-codeing guidelines are certified.
The AWDA IAT committee will continue to work on updates to bar-coding guidelines at their May meeting.

COMMENTS:
AWDA IAT will re-do the bar code survey. Tim Norlin will send a sample form to ACEC members for their comments to start the process. AWDA IAT will prepare the AWDA bar code guidelines for certification at their October 4 meeting. The AWDA IAT committee will study the CFS bar code implementation guidelines.
